1. Describe two major differences from Map 1 to Map 2.
The teo major differences between Map 1 and 2 is that there are representing different territories of different nations the first one showed the indians territory and the second one represented the american therritory at that time. The second major difference is the the indian map showed a large portion of their territory and the American map showed a portion of the territory.
2. Describe three major differences from Map 2 to Map 4.
The 1st major difference between the map 2 and 4 is that the map two detailed every state and label the state, state claims, special status, territories, unorganized territories, claimed area and foreign area but the map 4 did not label and a detailed way which made me assume that it was part of the american territory. The second major difference is that map 2 shows the portion missing in map 4 and map 4 shows the portion missing in map 2. The third major difference is that map 2 is different in terms of superficy then map 4, it shows and increase from map 2 to map 4.

5. In the upcoming lesson, you’ll explore the major differences between Native Americans’ and Settlers’ ideas about land, and what happened when these two groups wanted to live in the same area. Using prior
knowledge and the maps above, infer what will happen when these two groups wanted to live in the same areas.
Native American usage and treatment of land didn't undergo much notable change. More specifically, they viewed land as something to be shared communally, and respected it with that idea in mind. The concept of "owning" property was completely foreign to them, and this included land therefore the settler's belief about land were the opposite. They believed that sharing land was a fool's gamble and a practice they saw ripe for exploitation for them land meant to be owned, trade and use for personal benefits. With the contradictory concept of land between Native American and Settlers I infer that he settler will force the Native's to give up their lands
